Helen Holmes

Helen Holmes is a prior self-published poet of a volume of poems And Then There was Light, working with a group in Brixton, London (Devotion Press). She has been writing poetry since she was seven years old and has kept all of these works to date. She has recently also publisihed a book on pre- and peri-natal religious experience Seeing God in Our Birth Experiences (Routledge, June 2020) following a Masters in Psychology of Religion at Heythrop College, University of London.

Helen currently lives in North London, and works in private practice as a psychotherapist and counsellor with children, young people, adults, couples and families. She is happily single and enjoys life with her family and friends, also playing music in a small music group, attending theatre, painting, travelling and reading.
